Having got and reviewed the New Eternia Barbarian Skeletor and Revelation Skelegod figures, it’s worth making the point that they use the same wrist and head joints/pegs. This won’t be news for seasoned collectors of course, but let’s take a quick look at swapping a few things around.

Neither of Barbarian Skeletor’s heads look quite right on Skelegod’s body to me. There’s something about the longer neck that means the heads look a bit perched on top. Conversely, Skelegod’s head on Barbarian Skeletor’s body looks pretty good! Okay it does look like its lacking a neck, but otherwise works quite well. The colours don’t look too off either.

Although the hand/wrist joints are the same on both figures, no surprises that the very large Skelegod hands look pretty funny on Barbarian Skeletor. Just to underline the point that they both use the same type of joint, I tried Skeletor’s hands on Skelegod. Yeah, it works but again looks pretty odd!
Although the Masterverse figures are no where near as modular as the Origins line, you can still have some fun parts swapping.

Talking of the Origins line, in a lot of cases the neck and wrist joints are the same as the Masterverse. So, you can extend the parts swapping even further. Unfortunately, I don’t have many Origins figures to use for examples but good old Clamp Champ will do to show some of the fun you can have creating your own oddballs!
I haven’t reviewed enough figures to get too carried away with parts swapping yet, but hopefully this post shows the potential for creating some real odd balls!
