New Adventures Skeletor, a relatively obscure version of the character was included in the masterverse line in all his cybernetic glory.
This version of Scare Glow is based on his treatment in the Netflix Revelation and Revolution cartoons. As the lord of Eternia’s underworld, Scare Glow is a very powerful and intimidating character, let’s see how his figure turned out.
Rulers of the Sun? I don’t remember this from the vintage 1980s line! That’s because this was a line of toys inspired by Masters of the Universe and added to the Origins line a few years ago. A couple of Masterverse versions were made so let’s take a look at Sun-Man himself.
Released towards the end of 2023/early 2024, let’s take a close look at this version of the key Masters of the Universe character.
The first He-Man variant in the New Eternia sub-line has some interesting takes on the design of the Battle Armor. Oh, and He-Man has a beard!

Well, I’ve got a standard New Eternia figure in Viking He-Man and a deluxe in Beast Man. So it’s time to look at a figure that’s exclusive to Mattel Creations.

I bought this version of Beast Man at the same time as New Eternia Viking He-Man, which I’ve already reviewed here.
In that review I gave a quick and dirty overview of the Masterverse line and the New Eternia sub-line within that. I won’t repeat all of that here but suffice to say the New Eternia sub-line contains different takes on the classic Masters of the Universe characters, all at that 17cm/7 inch scale.
(more…)As covered in this post looking over a few figures, I’ve found myself collecting Masters of the Universe Masterverse figures! I won’t go over the reasons again, but it’s basically the figures’ scale, detail and articulation won me over. Although I was very tempted by the Origins line and I’m very happy with the Clamp Champ we got.
