Skeletor – Skelegod Parts Swapping
A lot of the parts for the Masterverse even Origins figures use the same joints. Perfect for parts swapping.

Two Skeletors in a row, but they couldn’t be more different! I got this Skelegod figure straight after the Barbarian Skeletor figure by luck more than anything. Pleased it worked out that way as they are very interesting to compare because they look so different.
This first version of Skeletor in the New Eternia line introduces a new look for the evil Lord of Destruction – a beard!
Well, I’ve got a standard New Eternia figure in Viking He-Man and a deluxe in Beast Man. So it’s time to look at a figure that’s exclusive to Mattel Creations.
He’s a big lad!
I bought this version of Beast Man at the same time as New Eternia Viking He-Man, which I’ve already reviewed here.
In that review I gave a quick and dirty overview of the Masterverse line and the New Eternia sub-line within that. I won’t repeat all of that here but suffice to say the New Eternia sub-line contains different takes on the classic Masters of the Universe characters, all at that 17cm/7 inch scale.
(more…)As covered in this post looking over a few figures, I’ve found myself collecting Masters of the Universe Masterverse figures! I won’t go over the reasons again, but it’s basically the figures’ scale, detail and articulation won me over. Although I was very tempted by the Origins line and I’m very happy with the Clamp Champ we got.
(more…)Last summer, my wife said she wanted a handful of strong female action figures to go on a shelf behind her in her office.
She chose a pretty cool mix and inevitably I’ve been sucked into collecting some too!
