I’ve been sitting on this post for a bit in the hope that a ray of light would shine through and I could write something more along the lines of “phew, that was a near miss!”.
Alas, I haven’t spotted anything to that affect so I’m assuming that the news is correct and as of the end of this year the Masterworks line will be cancelled by Marvel.
Two Skeletors in a row, but they couldn’t be more different! I got this Skelegod figure straight after the Barbarian Skeletor figure by luck more than anything. Pleased it worked out that way as they are very interesting to compare because they look so different.
This first version of Skeletor in the New Eternia line introduces a new look for the evil Lord of Destruction – a beard!

Keep your hands extended to all in friendliness but never holding the gun of persecution and intolerance!”
As quickly detailed in this post, thanks to my wife (thanks wife!) I’m now collecting Masters of the Universe Masterverse action figures. Before I wound up in the Masterverse camp, between us we got a couple of Origins figures to try out – the Sorceress and Clamp Champ.
(more…)After all of my banging on about the new DC Finest line of books, I was actually quite slow in getting one of the first ones!
As the title suggests, I went for the first volume of Batman that has been released – Year One & Two. So let’s take a quick look at it:
