The Hulk was the first comic book character I really got into as a kid. So when I started collecting comics again, the Jade Giant was a natural place to start.
Lets see whether it’s possible to get close to a complete run of the Hulk in book form.
It’s the early/mid 1960s, Marvel Comics are starting to make serious headway with their line of superheroes. They have arguments, squabbles and other personal troubles which go way beyond the bland ‘competent man’ mould of DC’s line of superheroes.
Reading the Werewolf by Night Omnibus made me go back and leaf through this volume of Marvel’s take on the vampire lord!
This mighty tome was published back in 2015 but I managed to pick up a nice copy from ebay earlier this year. Before reading this book, I wasn’t particularly familiar with the title character but had read enough of Marvel’s other 1970s horror characters and titles to have my curiosity piqued.
