Yeah, that’s right. That’s Batman (or the Bat-Man as he’s called in the story here), the creature of the night. The Dark Knight Detective. The Caped Crusader with his jaunty purple gloves and really awkward looking wings/cape. And… ears. Those weird ears…
Sod 2020 and let’s go back to the beginning of superhero comics with Superman and Action Comics #1!
This has not been a good year for anybody let alone anyone who suffers from anxiety. Doesn’t help that this year seems to be taking plot points from V for Vendetta, Watchmen and other Alan Moore works I can’t think of off the top of my head.
Continuing where I left off with the 1960s, lets see how collecting the Hulk comics from the 1970s pans out.
The Hulk was the first comic book character I really got into as a kid. So when I started collecting comics again, the Jade Giant was a natural place to start.

Reading the Werewolf by Night Omnibus made me go back and leaf through this volume of Marvel’s take on the vampire lord!
This mighty tome was published back in 2015 but I managed to pick up a nice copy from ebay earlier this year. Before reading this book, I wasn’t particularly familiar with the title character but had read enough of Marvel’s other 1970s horror characters and titles to have my curiosity piqued.
